Donald M. Tippett, Jr.
Don Tippett has over 37 years of industry experience working extensively with both Fortune 1000 companies and many large private companies in designing Executive Benefit Plans. In 1982 he co-founded TBG Financial which eventually became the national firm, MullinTBG. In May 2012 he and Mike Moorhead started TMH after the sale of MullinTBG to Prudential. The broad platform they have built continues to help companies as well as affluent individuals giving them access to large number of proprietary products and services. He received his degree in Business from USC and holds his Series 6 and 63 licenses as well as a CLU degree. Tip lives in Newport Beach with his wife Robin, and has three children and seven grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, collecting wine, and spending time with his grandkids.
Michael C. Moorhead
For more than 37 years in the financial services industry, Mike Moorhead has helped his corporate and individual clients with executive benefit solutions and estate planning strategies. Prior to starting TMH, Mike was a partner at MullinTBG for 15 years. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Bankers Trust Company, Chemical Bank and First Interstate. He received his BA and MBA from UCLA and holds his Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses. He has also passed the CPA exam but is not a certified public accountant. Mike lives in Newport Beach with his wife, Ann, and has two children. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and a good glass of wine.
Blake H. Tippett
Blake Tippett is one of the founding partners of TMH. Blake has been advising public and private companies, and affluent individuals for over 11 years in the areas of life insurance, asset protection, wealth transfer, and executive benefits. Blake holds a BA from the University of Southern California. He has his Series 6 and 63 securities licenses and lives in Newport Beach with his wife, Kori, and their three children, Carson, Griffin, and Harrison.
Taylor Haden has been in the financial services industry for 11 years. Taylor’s experience provides a unique ability to advise both individuals and corporate clients in the areas of executive retention, estate planning, and tax strategies to create retirement income and preserve generational wealth. Prior to joining TMH, Taylor worked for Bear, Stearns & Co and then Arthur J. Gallagher with a focus on private equity. Taylor holds a BA from USC. He has his Series 6 and 63 securities licenses. Taylor and his wife, Alexandra, live in Manhattan Beach with his two children, Helen and George. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and going to the beach.
For more than 25 years in the financial service industry, Allen Cannon has worked diligently to help his corporate and individual clients design and implement strategic executive benefit packages tailored to their unique needs. Allen was previously with MullinTBG since 1997 and joined TMH in 2013. Allen brings his extensive advisory experience to serve corporate and private clients. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Worldwide Investment Network, Mass Financial and Benefit Management Specialists. Allen holds his Series 6 and 63 securities licenses and is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Currently lives in the mountains in Pine Valley, Utah with his bride of 39 year’s Patty. In his spare time Allen enjoys playing golf, working in his yard, and mentoring future leaders through the Boy Scout program.
Daniel Church has been in the financial services industry for 10 years focusing on the planning and implementation of life insurance plans for high net worth families and corporate clients. He is responsible for the design of innovative solutions for retirement needs and complex estate plans, as well as the underwriting aspects of each plan. Prior to joining TMH in 2013, Daniel was the Director of Case Design for a private firm in Phoenix, AZ advising high net worth individuals. Daniel graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Financial Management. He currently holds Series 6, 7, and 63 securities licenses and has his California insurance license. Daniel currently resides in Mission Viejo with his wife Christina. He enjoys playing sports, traveling, and the outdoors.
Lindsay Welch has been in the “customer service” industry for over 9 years. Prior to joining the team in 2016, Lindsay worked for the Irvine Company Office Properties Division as a Manager of Operations in the Newport Beach area. Lindsay graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Communications and a minor in Spanish language. She currently lives in Costa Mesa with her husband Barton, and their three children, Sterling, Scottie and Walker. On her free time she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and cooking.
Lynn has worked in the financial industry most of her working career. She started in Banking and later worked in Financial Services, accumulating over 35 years of experience. She comes to TMH with 16 years of management experience at a national mutual insurance company. Her expertise lies in managing the new business pipeline. She is also known for developing solid relationships with staff, team members, and clients alike. She embraces challenge to consistently develop efficient client service processes to ensure smooth operations.
Lynn and her husband, Bob, have two grown children. Together they enjoy traveling, and many outdoor sports, including hiking, backpacking, downhill and cross-country skiing, and windsurfing. Lynn is also a yoga practitioner and mindfulness mentor.
Courtney Gonzales has been in the “customer service” industry for 6 years. Prior to joining TMH in 2016, Courtney worked for Argent Management as a front desk coordinator in Irvine, CA. Courtney graduated from the University of North Dakota with a BA in Communications, in 2014. While attending UND, she played softball for the University on an athletic scholarship. Courtney currently lives in Huntington Beach, CA. On her free time she enjoys playing softball, camping, and spending time with her family.
